Not the Ghetto

The other day I heard a conversation which gave me a scare. Apparently in the apartment complex next to the Denmark House office building a shooting had occured in the past week. My apartment complex is next to the Denmark House. For better or worse there is another complex to the back of the office building. Later that day I went to the leasing office to investigate the details. I was informed that no shooting had occured in the complex and that the other complex had had trouble recently (they do not do criminal background checks, etc.). What a relief. I may live in the projects, but at least its not the ghetto.
